Yes! Start with our Free plan (10 receipts/month) or try Pro with a 7-day free trial. No-risk, cancel anytime — no questions asked. You only pay if you love it.
We deliver accounting-ready CSV files with everything you need: Date, Vendor, Amount, Category, Business Purpose, Payment Method, and Receipt Image URL. Works seamlessly with QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, FreshBooks, Excel, Google Sheets — any software that accepts CSV. Your accountant will love you.
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption — TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Row-level security ensures only you can access your data. We never sell or share your information. Your receipts are safer with us than in your desk drawer.
Everything. Photos, PDFs, screenshots, email receipts, invoices — our AI handles them all. If it proves you paid for something, we can extract the data.

Pricing & Plans
We offer three plans: Free (10 receipts/month, $0), Pro Monthly ($9.99/month, unlimited receipts), and Pro Annual ($99/year — save 17%). Both Pro plans include unlimited receipts, AI categorization, CSV/PDF export, and priority support.
The Free plan includes 10 receipts per month, basic OCR scanning, and manual categorization. Pro unlocks unlimited receipts, AI-powered auto-categorization, CSV and PDF export, IRS Schedule C reports, duplicate detection, and priority support.
Yes! We occasionally offer promotional coupon codes. You can enter a coupon code on the pricing section of our homepage before checkout. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest offers.
We don't currently have a dedicated student or nonprofit plan, but our Free plan is a great starting point. If you're a student or nonprofit with specific needs, reach out to support@taxclip.co — we're happy to discuss options.
Billing & Subscription
You can change your plan anytime from Settings → Subscription → Change or Cancel Plan. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Your Annual plan continues until the end of your paid period — no refund or credit is issued. Once it expires, Monthly billing ($9.99/month) starts automatically. You keep all Pro features throughout.
Yes, you can pause your subscription for up to 3 months. During the pause, you won't be billed and your data is preserved. You can resume anytime from Settings → Subscription.
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription → Change or Cancel Plan, or through the Apple App Store if you subscribed via iOS. Upon cancellation, you keep Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle.
On the web, we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Lemon Squeezy. On iOS, payments are handled through Apple In-App Purchases.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid purchase. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of your initial payment, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are not available for standard cancellations.
Email support@taxclip.co with your account email, the transaction date, and your reason for requesting a refund. We'll review your request within 2 business days.
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 14-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable — they continue until the end of the paid period. This is because the annual plan already includes a 17% discount.
If you're charged twice for the same transaction, we'll issue a full refund for the duplicate immediately. Contact support@taxclip.co with details of the duplicate charge.
Features & Usage
We handle the hardest part — organizing and exporting your receipts in tax-ready format. For actual filing, work with your accountant. They'll thank you for the clean data.
Yes! TaxClip works great in your mobile browser. We're also building dedicated iOS and Android apps with features like instant camera scanning and real-time sync — coming soon.
Our AI reads your receipt using OCR, then automatically assigns an IRS-compliant expense category (e.g., Office Supplies, Meals, Travel). It learns common vendors and patterns to improve accuracy over time. You can always edit the category if needed.
Schedule C is the IRS form used by sole proprietors and freelancers to report business profit or loss. TaxClip can generate a pre-filled Schedule C summary grouped by expense category, making tax prep much faster.
You can export your data as a CSV or PDF and share it with your accountant. We're working on a direct accountant collaboration feature — stay tuned!
